So, why don't we play dream cast? With Tim Burton directing, I expect Helena Bonham Carter will be in it - she could of course play Angelique, but I think that's too obvious. My dream choices would be Anjelica Houston as Dr Julia Hoffman. Depending on which storyline they go with - Hugh Jackman as Quentin. Gates McFadden as Elizabeth Collins. Billy Drago as Willie Loomas. And I can't decide on Reese Witherspoon or Julia Stiles as Angelique - I think they both have the potential to play evil. I realised how out of touch I am with twenty-something actors when I tried to think of someone for Victoria Winters. Who's a younger version of Jennifer Connelly? Anyone else want to play? I hope they keep it in the classic 60's-70's style, because "The Revival" in the 90's, as in trying to make it relevant to the current date didn't work as well I think. I'm curious as to the rest of characters as well. Quentin just held a special place in my heart watching the entire series and his character's progression as the show went on. They might not even go there in the rewriting for the movie, so who knows. With Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp as Barnabas, though, this will be a great one for sure!!! I'm so excited!
